Visibl ("we", "us", "our") is a digital marketing service based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website (visibl.ca), how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
The short version: we only collect the information you choose to give us through our forms and chat assistant, we use it solely to respond to you and provide our services, we don't run tracking or analytics cookies, and we never sell your information to anyone.
1. What we collect
We collect personal information only when you choose to provide it:
- Free audit & contact forms — your name, business name, email address, phone number, industry, and any goals or details you share in the message field.
- Chat assistant — the messages you type into the chat widget, and any contact details you choose to share in the conversation (such as your name, business name, or email) so our team can follow up.
- Website preview tool — the business name, industry, and description you enter to generate a preview. You can use this tool without providing any contact information.
- Email — anything you send us directly at info@visibl.ca.
We do not collect payment information through this website. If you become a client, payments are processed by a third-party payment provider and are subject to that provider's privacy policy.
2. What we don't collect
- We do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies on this website.
- We do not track your browsing behaviour across other websites.
- We do not buy, rent, or sell personal information — ever.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Prepare and send your free digital audit;
- Respond to your questions and enquiries;
- Provide and manage our services if you become a client;
- Send follow-up communications you've asked for or would reasonably expect (you can opt out at any time).
We rely on your consent, which you provide by submitting a form, chatting with our assistant, or emailing us. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
4. Service providers
To operate this website and respond to you, we use a small number of service providers who may process information on our behalf:
- Website hosting (Netlify) — hosts this website and processes form and chat requests;
- Email services (Zoho) — handles our business email;
- Form processing — delivers your form submissions to our inbox;
- AI processing (Anthropic) — powers our chat assistant and preview generator. Messages you send to the chat and details you enter into the preview tool are processed to generate responses.
These providers may store or process information outside of Canada (for example, in the United States). Where that happens, your information is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We only work with providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected — for example, to deliver your audit, respond to your enquiry, or maintain our client relationship — and as required by law. When it's no longer needed, we delete it.
6. Your rights
You can, at any time:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Ask us to correct or delete your information;
- Withdraw your consent to further contact;
- Complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta if you believe we've mishandled your information.

This website is served over HTTPS, and access to the information you submit is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we handle.

Our services are directed at businesses in Canada. If you contact us from outside Canada (including the United States), your information will be handled as described in this policy and processed in Canada and/or the jurisdictions of our service providers.
9. Children
Our website and services are intended for business owners and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
